A Two-Second Pause That Stopped Me

A Moment That Made Me Freeze for Two Seconds

One day, I gave a single prompt.

Two minutes later, 60 files, 1 complete report.

In that moment, I wasn't excited for long. Instead, I suddenly felt very quiet.

Because I started to realize:

The truly terrifying thing about AI isn't that it's too powerful. It's that it's so powerful—it makes you feel like you are constantly producing, constantly pushing forward, constantly advancing.

Even when you might just be: accelerating in circles.

Under this kind of rhythm, if we aren't careful, the future will undoubtedly bring:

• Loss of focus • Blurred personality • AI dependency • Nervous system overload • Confusion of identity • Speed anxiety • Diminished sense of reality • The emptiness of high efficiency

So over these past few months, I've started deliberately forcing myself to slow down.

Stopping every 50 minutes of work. Starting the morning with blank space, stretching, and meditation, instead of jumping straight into work the moment I wake up.

Because I am slowly discovering:

The truly stable person in the AI era isn't the one who runs the fastest. It is the one who, amidst the high speed, still knows exactly who they are.
