How Long Can You Ignore Your Phone?
Did you know? Truly wealthy people have a 'quiet mind' when their phone is turned off! In recent years, many people have started to notice a very contradictory phenomenon. Salaries have increased, job titles have been promoted, and life seems to be getting more decent, but people haven't become happier. Every day, we are chased by meetings, messages, and work. We even reply to emails on weekends, and even eating, sleeping, or spacing out starts to feel like a guilty 'waste of time.'
This is exactly why the definition of 'New Wealth' is beginning to take shape. Perhaps, true wealth has never just been the numbers in a bank account. What many people truly envy is actually a very quiet state of life.
You can slowly drink a cup of coffee on a weekday afternoon; you can turn off your phone at night and still feel peaceful inside; and when you wake up on the weekend, you no longer feel a strong sense of exhaustion and oppression. Because when a person's ability to rest, space out, and feel life gradually disappears, even if their income gets higher and higher, they might just be heading towards another form of 'bankruptcy'.
