YogaScenes V2: learning material with traceable sources

YogaScenes V2 is a free yoga knowledge base, learning handbook, pose library, article platform, and practice-exam tool. The important distinction is not the number of features. It is that different learning tasks need different forms of content.

Learning, reference, and reading are different tasks

Learn provides ordered programs, modules, and chapters. Library holds canonical reference entries that can be consulted without reading a curriculum. Pose pages keep names, movement observations, teaching choices, and safety context in structured fields.

Articles have a different job. They hold viewpoints, practice observations, teaching notes, and experiences that should not be presented as curriculum or as a definitive reference entry.

Open content still needs editorial boundaries

Core knowledge is public, but publication still requires clear scope. Traditional perspectives, historical research, modern anatomy, research evidence, and teaching experience should not be blended into one unlabelled voice.

An observational article does not need an unrelated citation to look authoritative. When an article genuinely relies on a source, that source should be identifiable and traceable.

Each language version stands on its own

Long-form content is not silently borrowed from another locale. English and Traditional Chinese pages exist and are reviewed independently. If a version is missing, it stays unpublished.

This means the library grows more slowly, but each published page can be clearer about what it knows, what it observes, and what remains unfinished.

A tool meant for returning readers

A durable knowledge site should work beyond the first visit. Months later, a reader should still be able to find a concept, check a source, see when a page changed, or return to a question that was not ready to be answered the first time.

YogaScenes V2 is built around that kind of return: less campaign, more publication; less funnel, more useful structure.
